It is also my understanding that the Viper 211HV system contains the following in the box: I understand that the existing wiring harness inside the tailgate will have 2 wires on the tailgate side and 2 wires on the vehicle side that are for supporting the door open indicators. I have ordered the Viper 211HV keyless entry unit (should show up soon). I have already recieved the OEM lock actuator for the tailgate (part 04589584AG / 4589276AL) I will do something similar (or exactly like) what buskeats refers to in his replies on this thread: I ultimately want to install remote keyless entry on all my doors + tailgate but I have decided to start small and go with keyless entry for just my tailgate for now given that is the biggest pain of all for manual locks in my 2014 jk wrangler unlimited.
